ABOUT
Karol Almert – a musician from Poland, a constructor of musical space and not always friendly sounds. Passionate about analog sound recording, tapes and reel-to-reel tape recorders, also good film, music and train driving simulators. On a daily basis, a camera operator working for Polsat Television.
In 2011, together with Wojciech Wieczorek, he founded experimental-ambient band “The Temple of Oscillators”. The following albums have been released: “Confession of Faith”, “The Sea Inside” and “U-Bahn”.
In the fall of 2016, Wojcek Czern at the “Analog Rogalów” Studio using the analog technique began recording material for the solo album “Radiation Range”. The material was partially presented at a concert at the Center for Culture and Promotion in Kraśnik on the occasion of the 630th anniversary of the city. At that time, the film forms made by Karol together with movie friends.
CD album released by publisher “OBUH” was released on January 2, 2019, during the Art and Music Festival “Now Art!” in Kazimierz Dolny. At the concert in Studio KZMRZ: Karol Almert – synthesizers and Piotr Dudzikowski (More Experience) – guitars and percussion. On August 27, 2019, the album: Karol Almert – “Radiation Range” was presented by editor Jerzy Kordowicz at Studio El-Muzyki on the air of Program III of Polish Radio.
On August 20, the album “More Experience” was released, containing both variations on Karol’s solo work and completely new musical discoveries.
